What companies might I be working for?
The companies that are currently offering work placements, and details of those placements, can be found under Placements. There are generally a wide variety of positions at some of the top UK-based companies.

Where are the placements located?
Placements are offered in locations across the UK. The location of each placement currently available can be found under Placements.

What are the standard working hours in the UK?
Although it varies from employer to employer, the standard working week in the UK is approximately 37.5 to 40 hours per week. The standard start time is between 8.30-9am and the standard finish time is between 5-6pm.

What travel documents would I need?
To come to the UK on the UK-China Graduate Work Experience Programme you will need a passport and a visa. There is a special class of visa for this programme, and successful candidates will be given directions and assistance on applying for it.

Who arranges the flights for the programme?
The China Scholarship Council will organise flights for the interns to and from the UK.
