Building relationships between the UK and China

The UK China Graduate Work Experience Programme brings together UK employers and China’s top graduates, giving Chinese graduates an insight into UK life, and employers the chance to build relationships with China’s top talent. The Programme is now reciprocal, and offers high-calibre British candidates the opportunity to live and work in China or Hong Kong.

 

Managed by GTI Recruiting Solutions on behalf of the UK Government, the Programme gives Chinese and British graduates the opportunity to take part in salaried work placements with companies in each other’s country, and aims to give graduates a greater understanding of UK or Chinese culture, people, society and way of life.

Since the Programme began in 2006, over 250 students have been placed with employers including Accenture, Standard Chartered Bank, EC Harris, JP Morgan, Tesco and Somerset County Council.
